If you need to clean up mess fast and efficiently, a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops that I test had superior mapping and navigation. They picked up Cheerios and fake dog turds, well as wires that were tangled.
They're also user-friendly using an app that lets you schedule cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combo. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It features a sleek and elegant app interface that comes with a mini-map of your home and buttons on the screen for manual control.
The S8's Dirt-Detection Technology allows it to change the cleaning mode according to the amount of dirt. It will wash its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get the first priority when mopping with mopping pads that are damp.

With the built-in voice assistant in the S8, you can use voice commands to set the cleaning mode of your room and provide the ability to control granular settings using only your voice.

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free that also has mopping capabilities. It's among the many combo robot vacuums with mops that are also available at a lower cost than the competition.
Like most robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to begin, which includes creating an account on the manufacturer's app and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once that's done, though the robot can begin cleaning and mopping easily.
It's important to keep in mind that the mapping process may take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a couple of attempts before it can get a good picture of your room. The object detection is hit-and-miss. It was able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles however, it got stuck on a looser rug with tassels, and needed to turn to free itself. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great choice for those in need of an appliance that can do all of the above.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a three-in-one home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion like hand scrubbing which results in floors that are actually cleaned, not just cleaned. The detachable vacuum stick is an absolute game changer that can reach areas where robot vacuums cannot.
This model is essentially identical to the popular X2 Omni but with a slightly higher suction capacity of 8,700Pa and additional features that are smart. The upgraded RGBD sensor can learn your home's layout better and provide dynamic obstacle avoidance. The smart app allows you to customize a number of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo also has self-preparation. Both the robot vacuum and mop return to their charging station at the end of each job to clean their pads and empty the dust bins and place the debris into bags that self-seal. This keeps the system tidy and also stops allergens from circulating. The battery life is long enough to clean large areas without requiring the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the more expensive robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for carpets and hard floors and a great obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping method, that uses a roller that is continuously doused with water to pull up dirt and deposit it in the dirty water tank.
Its navigation technology performed well and was able to navigate close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. It had trouble with small particles and did not always clear the thresholds in rooms. The operating noise level is also quite high, so it may be less of a "set-and-forget" model than some.
The S1 Pro, like most robotic vacuums, is equipped with a docking system that allows it to refill its clean water tank, empty the dust bin and dry and wash the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance simple and helps the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on a routine schedule. You can control all its functions through the Eufy app, which gives a clear overview and plenty of configurability.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It offers amazing results when it comes to mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can recognize furniture legs and other obstacles with a decent accuracy, and the app allows users to fine-tune map coverage, create zones that are not allowed to enter, and set cleaning preferences. The Freo's main roller brush is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which could be a major issue with many robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode is impressive too, with Reuleaux triangular mops that spin at 180 RPM and apply up to 12N of downward pressure. The mopping system also includes intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upward when they're near soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them.
The docking station functions as an unmanned maintenance center that automatically washes and dries the mops, and refills them with detergent and distilled water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they need to be emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars more than the S8, this robot is a slick job of keeping my office tidy and is able to tackle the corners of my cramped apartment. budget robot vacuum uses a laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D-map of your home so it knows what to avoid. And, unlike many vacuums that can mop it detects objects and obstructions that avoids items such as bowls for dogs and dog toys (but not poop).
Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin and a mop that is self-washing and adjustable for water temperature, and an extended side-reaching brush that is able to reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set up cleaning schedules within the app and adjust settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping that can differentiate between carpets, laminate and hardwood flooring with high-pile rugs. It can also avoid mopping rooms that are not dirty if you're looking to reduce time. If you have a wide range of flooring in your home and don't wish to spend extra money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities, this is a great choice.
7. Q5 Pro
If you're looking for a versatile robot vacuum and mop that is able to handle regular maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes, this robot is a great option. It comes with a wide range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin and a separate dock for refilling water, as well as customizable settings via the app. It's surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug, and its battery drains quicker than other models we've test.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek design. It didn't perform as well as the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra in our vacuuming tests, but overall it did quite well. It has a range of cleaning options, ranging from the low power 'Quiet mode which is suitable for small debris to the powerful 'Turbo mode' for carpeted areas. It can even be programmed to automatically remove and replace its mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for those who live in cramped areas. It is very fast and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It's also extremely effective at removing pet hair off carpets.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however it doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a decent suction capacity and can be configured to take pictures of every object it chooses (i.e. chew toys socks, chew toys) and mark them in the app as "not found' to ensure that they are not taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and aren't linked to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but it's not so good at mopping. It uses disposable wet wipes that are clipped onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them around your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal models, which have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
